The Armenian National Committee of Laval was host to Mrs Monique Sauvé, Fabre candidate of the Liberal Party of Quebec (Parti libéral du Québec, PLQ), on October 25th 2015 at the Laval Armenian Community Center. She was accompanied by Mr Guy Ouellette, Member of the National Assembly for Chomedey. Mrs Sauvé and Mr Ouellette met the members of the Armenian Church, Armenian Red Cross, as well as representatives of the different organisations headquartered in the Laval Armenian Community Center. The discussion evolved around a number of national and local challenges which the community faces. The Committee highlighted the Quebec government’s and Prime Minister Philippe Couillard’s participation in the centennial events. ANCL supports Mrs Monique Sauvé’s candidacy in Fabre and wishes her success in the upcoming partial elections on November 9th.
