Sunday, July the 17th, Armenian National Committee of Québec (ANCQ) members for both the Montreal & Laval chapters, along with representatives from Armenian National Committee of Canada (ANCC), gathered for an all day conference at the Laval Armenian Community Center.
The purpose of the meeting was to review the activities and the accomplishments of the 2015-2016 year as well as set the agenda for the upcoming year. Discussions centered around strengthening our relations with local politicians, increasing awareness of the Armenian cause in Quebec, working for the Artsakh cause and advancing genocide recognition and education efforts in both the political and academic arenas on an on-going basis.
The meeting concluded with the completion of a three year strategic plan and a timetable for all upcoming milestones.
