Armenian-Australians Encouraged to Donate to Ryde Mayoral Appeal for Artsakh

For over 250 days, our brothers and sisters in Artsakh have been cut off from the outside world, deprived of basic necessities, including food and medicine.

As international pressure mounts on Azerbaijan to open the ‘Road of Life’ we, the Armenian-Australian community, need to be ready to come to the people of Artsakh’s aid as soon as the blockade is lifted.

The Appeal has been launched by Mayor of the City of Ryde, Councillor Sarkis Yedelian OAM, in conjunction with the largest Armenian women’s relief organisation worldwide, the ARS Australia – Armenian Relief Society of Australia.

Members of the Armenian-Australian community and Australians more broadly are encouraged to donate before the Appeal concludes on Friday, 15th of September 2023.
